SAS: Who Dares Wins Fitness Assessment
Interestingly the week I start holding myself accountable to an extreme level SAS: Who Dares Wins emails me about video evidence for a fitness assessment. OH FANFUCKINGTASTIC! I didn't see it coming and even though I've been running I wasn't at all pushing for the 9.5 minutes for 1.5 record. In all honestly with lockdown I was using the event as an opportunity to catch up and make the most of SAS:WDWs being delayed thinking I had more time to get my cardio up. Again an example to why you should always be ready so you don't have to get ready.
Even though I failed the run I will still be training as if I am going on the show, because honestly you never know! Last year I was caught out in September when they were still looking for people and there's only so many times you can use the excuse, "I wasn't ready".
This event have allowed me to remove another level of procrastination and also, have some incredible healing into why I have been avoiding doing my very best since the age of 15 years old, because if you don't give your very best and you fail. I doesn't really matter but, it actually really does. Why should we live the rest of our lives with the limiting beliefs we held against ourselves from our childhood? No Ma'am! I don't care how tough it gets I will rewrite my DNA.
The only real barriers in life are mental ones.
